The game can only be played in multiplayer mode: over the Internet with people from all over the world, or on LAN with your friends. Each class has different weapons and accessories so choose wisely. There are two sides you can choose from: the Allies and the Axis each of them featuring several classes: medic, engineer, etc. The uniform and all the weapons in the game are from that time period. The game's setting is that of the World War II. The engine is the same as the one from the original game with some graphics modifications made due to the id Tech 3 engine. Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a first person shooter game originally planned as n expansion for Return To Castle Wolfenstein and turned into a standalone game.
